What we do.

Three Birds Systems markets software products and services to developers of mobile and embedded systems. Our software products are currently in development. Our services consist of expert consulting on the development of embedded systems and embedded system software.

Ownership.

Three Birds Systems is a California sole-proprietorship, founded and owned by Howard E. Neely, III. The company was founded January 1, 2013.

Howard Neely is the founder, owner and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Three Birds Systems. He has more than 35 years of experience in the system, hardware, and software engineering of embedded systems for the aerospace and defense industry, with specific recent expertise in immersive human-computer interaction systems and embedded computer vision systems. Mr. Neely has several patents and publications in the areas of augmented reality, virtual environment applications, and multimodal user interfaces. Details of patents and publications are shown in his resume. He earned his MS degree from the University of Southern California and his BS degree from Michigan State University, both in electrical engineering.

Mr. Neely has been a member of the IEEE and the IEEE Computer Society since 1973, and is a member of the ACM, ACM SIGGRAPH, and ACM SIGCHI.

Mr. Neely was born in Lansing, Michigan, and is a U.S. citizen.
